Founded in 2006 by Lauren & Lee Allen, Donjon Rouge is a continental café above Wadhurst Station in East Sussex. Situated 7 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells, we are a short ride or drive to Hastings, Rye and a host of places of interest along the South Coast.

Our business ethos is to serve only the finest coffee and locally produced food which we would expect ourselves. Our style is professional but friendly, our patisserie and Nespresso coffee the finest quality, evoking memories of the finest French and Italian driving holidays. 

For 2009, the ingredients of our very English Breakfast rolls are sourced seasonally from Peter Sands Butchers of Lamberhurst offering the best quality and value.

We are now established as a venue for classic cars, performance car clubs and motorcycle group meetings. We are now also licensed to serve wine and beer and showcase local musical talent with our regular jazz evenings.
